In the epic sci-fi adventure film Mortal Engines set in a post-apocalyptic world, cities have evolved into enormous machines on wheels, constantly on the move, devouring smaller cities to sustain themselves. As the world struggles to survive, two individuals, Tom and Hester, find themselves unexpectedly thrown together in London, one of the largest and most dominant roaming cities.
Tom, a lowly apprentice, discovers a cryptic message that unveils a sinister plot and forces him to confront his own past.
