You Don't Mess with the Zohan tells the story of Zohan Dvir, an Israeli Special Forces soldier who dreams of becoming a hair stylist. After faking his death, Zohan escapes to New York City to pursue his passion and leave behind his violent past. Adopting the identity of a hairstylist, Zohan takes a job at a salon owned by a Palestinian woman, Dalia. Initially met with skepticism and resistance, Zohan's unique hairstyling techniques and charismatic personality begin to win over clients, paving the way for success.
As Zohan gains popularity in the salon, he becomes entangled in a conflict with an unscrupulous real estate developer who seeks to buy the salon and the surrounding neighborhood.
