Undeterred, she enlists the help of South Philly working girl Angie Ostrowiski as her surrogate. Once Angie becomes pregnant, Kate goes into full-on nesting mode, preparing for the baby's arrival by reading childcare books, baby-proofing her apartment, and researching top pre-schools.
