In the movie Anaconda III (2008), wealthy businessman Peter Murdoch's pharmaceutical lab creates a groundbreaking cure using the extract of a rare blood orchid. To understand its effects on snakes, they breed a genetically enhanced super-anaconda strain. However, the experiment goes awry when the original anaconda pair escapes, leaving behind a gruesome trail of death and destruction.
Desperate to cover up his involvement, Murdoch flees the scene and orders his staff to eliminate any evidence of the failed experiment. Despite enlisting the help of seasoned big game hunter Hammett, the staff members continue to fall victim to the rapidly growing and pregnant anaconda. The snake cleverly sheds its skin, rendering the tracking device useless and making it even more elusive.
As the body count rises and the danger intensifies, Hammett realizes that he must confront the deadly creature and protect the remaining survivors. With time running out and the anaconda closing in, Hammett must utilize his skills and knowledge of the jungle to outsmart the monstrous snake and ensure the survival of those still trapped in its path.
