Details
In Sleepless in Seattle, Sam Baldwin and his young son, Jonah, move from Chicago to Seattle to escape the grief of his wife Maggie's death. Despite the passage of eighteen months, Sam is still grieving and unable to sleep. Jonah, missing his mother, urges his father to find a new wife.
On Christmas Eve, Jonah calls a national radio talk show to share his father's heart-wrenching story. Annie Reed, a writer from Baltimore, hears Sam's emotional confession and immediately falls in love with him, even though she is already engaged. Inspired by the classic film An Affair to Remember, Annie writes to Sam proposing they meet at the Empire State Building on Valentine's Day.
Meanwhile, Sam starts receiving countless letters from women across the country who are interested in meeting him. Excitedly, Jonah discovers a letter from Annie in Baltimore and does everything he can to bring his father and Annie together. However, Sam, a traditionalist when it comes to love, becomes infatuated with a mysterious woman he spots in Seattle.
As Valentine's Day approaches, the question arises: will Sam find love again? Will it be with the unknown woman he keeps seeing, or will Annie's romantic gesture reignite his heart? Sleepless in Seattle is a heartwarming romantic comedy that explores love, loss, and destiny.
